Honey Singh will always be grateful to his mentor Gurdas Maan!
Yo Yo Honey Singh is a huge fan of the legendary folk singer Gurdas Maan and considers him as his mentor. On Honey’s request, the veteran singer has agreed to croon few lines of the song of his debut Punjabi romantic action film, Zorawar.
After launching the trailer of Zorawar that marks Honey Singh’s debut as the lead actor, the makers including producers PTC Motion Pictures, Rajiee M Shinde and Rabindra Narayan and director Vinnil Markan have decided to launch the movie’s first song Raat Jashan Di in Delhi.
Interestingly, when the rapper-composer-lyricist-actor got to know that the makers were planning for the song, Raat Jashan Di launch in Delhi, he took some time out from his busy schedule to meet his guru Gurdas Maan and convinced him to be the Guest of Honour for the song launch event scheduled in Delhi on 28th March. Gurdas Maan also fulfilled Honey’s request to do a voice over for the trailer of Zorawar!
Producer Rajiee M Shinde says, “Gurdas Maanji is the original rockstar of Punjabi film industry and a global music icon. It’s our privilege to have him as the Guest of Honour for the song launch.”
Produced by PTC Motion Pictures, Rajiee M Shinde and Rabindra Narayan and directed by Vinnil Markan, Zorawar starring Honey Singh in the lead role along with Parul Gulati, Gurbani Judge, Pawan Malhotra, Mukul Dev and Achint Kaur is scheduled to release 6th May 2016.
