I.T.S Engineering College B.Tech 1 st Year-11 th Batch, 3-Day Orientation Program-2016- 20

A 3-Day Orientation Program for B.Tech 1 st Year -11 th Batch-2016- 20 was organized in I.T.S Engineering College, Greater Noida with great pomp and show on 3 rd of August 2016 in the college premises. The major objective of the programme was to greet and to welcome the new students and make them aware of the institute and various other aspects related to the upcoming session with a feeling of ease towards new environment. The event was graced with the benign presence of the Chief Guest Prof. Madan Mohan Pant, Founder & Mentor of Planet EDU & Former Pro-VC IGNOU New Delhi along with the distinguished guest Shri Jawahar Thakur, Ex Controller General of Accounts, Ministry of Finances, Govt. of India and guest of honor Shri Ayush Munjal, Executive Director, Hero Majestic Group, Greater Noida. The program proceeded on with an auspicious lamp-lighting ceremony to seek the blessings of the goddess Saraswati by the eminent guests along with college management fraternity followed by a bouquet presentation to the Chief Guest Prof. M. M. Pant by Vice Chairman Shri Sohil Chadha,distinguished guest Shri Jawahar Thakur by Chief Administrator Shri Surendra Sood & guest of honor Shri Ayush Munjal by Director of I.T.S Dr Vineet Knasal respectively as a token of appreciation. Ms Nilakshi Goel, AP, PDP demonstrated I.T.S Group & its achievements with a visual presentation. All the dignitaries shared their virtuous experiences with the freshers to stimulate them & provide them right understanding as the newcomers have started their new venture of life and they need right direction and guidance to reach on their destination. Most of the parents were also present at the event along with their wards. Chief Administrator Shri Surendra Sood emphasized that faculty & parent’s involvement in monitoring the performance and progress of the students is required to avoid any inconvenience. Dr Vineet Knasal, Director, I.T.S Engineering College briefed about the rules and regulations of the institute and suggested students and their parents to understand and abide by the institutional rules and norms religiously. The event ended in a melodious atmosphere of the national anthem followed by Vote of Thanks by MOC. The grandiosity of the program was worth-noticing.
