Badshah, ArjunKanungo enthrall music lovers in #Noida.@arjun_kanungo
Noida, Aug 6 (IANS) Known for creating waves with foot-tapping numbers like “Proper Patola”, “Aaj raat ka scene”,”Baaki baatein peene baad”, rapper Badshah and singer Arjun Kanungo mesmerised music lovers by performing live here.
Moments before Badshah made his entry on the stage, Kanungo opened the show at the Gardens Galleria here with his popular number “Baaki baatein peene baad”.
Later, Badshah, whose real name is Aditya Singh, took over the stage by storm as he performed a string of hits including “DJ waley babu”, “Chull”, “Abhi toh party shuru hui hai”, and his latest “Kala Chashma” from the upcoming film “Baar Baar Dekho”.
As soon as the two started singing, an array of bright and colourful lights surrounded the venue area. The crowd was full into the performance and even sang and along to the lyrics, while some were even seen shaking a leg as both the musicians were performing.
This is not the first time the “Selfie” rapper performed on the stage. The “Bandook” rapper says he had performed here in “the beginning of his career.”
Badshah says he completely enjoys performing in Delhi/NCR.
“The kind of energy is here in Delhi/NCR (it is amazing). Delhi NCR is the place where I test all my songs…I am going to give some of my exclusives out.. So I get to know about how much my songs would work.It is always amazing to perform in Delhi/NCR,” Badshah told IANS.
About the event, Munish Baldev, Retail Head, Entertainment City Ltd, said: “Badshah today is one of the most popular music composers and singers…several of his songs have been an immense hits with music lovers across the country, which is why we decided to host him.”
Baldev says that the response was “overwhelming”.
“The response we received to the concert was overwhelming, and gives us the impetus to hold more such events in the future for Noida residents,” he added.
