Chinmaya Mission Noida organized annual children’s painting competition. The competition was hosted at the Vishwa Bharti Public School; sector 28 Noida for the 9th Year in a row today. Which started in 2008 with 250 students and now crossing 2200 students .The event saw children of various schools and art academies from Delhi, NCR region participating this year. The maximum participation came from Vishwa Bharti School, Jagran Public School and Lotus Valley School. The panel of judges constituted of 10 senior art teachers of various schools and the faculty of Art Institutes. The prizes are in the form of Trophies, Mission publications, certificates and gift vouchers to the first three winners in each category. To encourage the children there are about 50 consolation prizes. Under the dynamic leadership of Swami Chidrupananda ji – the resident Acharya and All India Chinmaya Youth Director, the Chyks and senior members working hand in hand to make this programme a success and bring more families into the Mission fold. “It is simply beautiful to see Pure and colorful Minds of children when they paint their thoughts on a sheet. This is Rang Bharo, which in turn fills their minds with beautiful colours”, Chinmaya mission Noida Acharya, Sw. Chidrupanandji told us about the event. The event is coordinated by a strong team of mission volunteer’s right from the youth wing of the mission up to the dynamic acharya of the mission under whose enthusiasm the event has grown from pillar to pillar.
