Iconic Worlds of Wonder (WOW) completes 10 years of its glorious operation

Worlds of Wonder (WoW), the largest and the most iconic theme park of North India has completed the landmark of a decade of its glorious operations and serving people from across the country.In its 10 years of operations, the theme park has not only transformed itself into a major hub of amusement and entertainment in Delhi NCR, but also has created a very robust ecosystem where hundreds ofpeople are employed directly and indirectly along with large contributions to the society and environment. In the last ten years over 50,000 under privileged and children with special abilities have visited the park. WOW has been a part of multiple CSR initiatives and contributed positively towards the upliftment of the society and the environment in the last 10 years.

Commenting on this milestone, MrGianVijeshwar, the father of the amusement industry in India and currently the Chairman of The Entertainment City that operates this famous amusement and water parksaid, “It is a proud moment for the entire team at The Entertainment City that manages the amusement and water parks. WOW has been one of the key attractions of The Entertainment City that also houses the famous landmarks of Noida NCR – The Great India Place and Gardens Galleria malls. The month long celebration from the 19^th of September to the 18^th of October 2017 is themed around concepts with the numerical 10. Be it promotional offers like entry tickets at 10 rupees for WOW passport members or10 bumper prizes to be won during the month; be it entertaining events like10 cultural evenings or 10 celebrity performances; be it social cause events like  felicitation of 10 NGO’sor 10 workshops on social awareness, the month long celebration has it all”.

Certificate of Excellence in 2014 from Trip Advisor, National Awards for Excellence – Winner of Best HR Practices for two consecutive years in 2015-16 and 2016-17, National Awards for Excellence – Best Event of the Year Worlds of Wonder 2015-16, Best Tourist Spot in Delhi NCR by BIG FM 92.7 in 2017 and Best Theme Park in Delhi NCR by Clear Trip in 2017 are some of the awards WoW has received over the years.
