Yamuna Authority CEO Arun Veer Singh on Friday issued completion certificates to builders who have applied for the same. In line with UP government’s commitment to deliver 50 thousand flats by December 2017, Yamuna Authority has been given a target of delivering 7 thousand flats. However after issuance of remaining completion certificate on 29th December, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority has over-achieved the target by paving way for delivery of 7685 flats so far.
Speaking to media on Friday, Yamuna Expressway Authority CEO Arun Veer Singh said that apart from issuing completion certificates of eligible builder projects, authority is also giving possession letters for its own project schemes as well.
Now that completion certificates have been issued, investors will be able to take possessions of their flats and plots.
Builder-Buyer logjam has been one of the most pertinent grievances in the region which had been adversely affecting over a lakh families since many years. The three ministers committee was formed by the UP CM to look in to the matter and a delivery target of 50k flats by December was setup after repeated meetings with different stakeholders.
CM Sets New Target in Public Rally
Yamuna Expressway Authority has now successfully achieved the December target however now the UP CM has again raised the bar and expectations of the investors by promising 80k flats by end of this financial year. He made this promise during inauguration of Magenta line metro station while addressing the crowd in Amity grounds. PM Modi was also seated on the stage during the announcement; however he refrained from speaking on this issue.
