The BJP condemns the provocative and aggressive comments made by the Army Chief General Raheel Sharif.
Jammu & Kashmir is an integral part of India. A unanimous resolution of the Indian parliament has stated in no uncertain words that the entire J & K inclusive of those parts which are under illegal occupation by Pakistan belong to India.
The elected civilian government of Pakistan should ensure that it focuses its attention on building a peaceful Pakistan and not allow its army to pose threat and issue alarm calls against peace in the region.
Bomb blast in Chennai Central Railway Station
The twin low intensity blasts in a compartment of the Bangalore-Guwahati express is utterly condemnable. Forces inimical to India are out to disturb the peaceful environment in which election are being held. They are active and information regarding such efforts have been brought to the notice of the election commission and the Union Home Minister by the BJP.
We reiterate the fact that there is every need to remain alert and not lower our guard even for a minute.
Media reports indicate that a bag containing materials good for making a pipe bomb were also found. We recall that nearly two years ago, during Shri L. K Advani’s Yatra against black Money, his convoy was diverted from its scheduled route due to pipe bomb found under a culvert. Moreover only last evening close to Chennai Central and enroute Guwahati, near Tirupati Shri Narendra Modi had held his rally only last evening.
The Government of India should continue to remain alert.
