45th IHGF kick starts at Indian Expo Mart, 3000 exhibitors, 30 international companies participating

Greater Noida: Secretary of Union Textile Ministry, Anant Kumar Singh inaugurated 45th edition of Indian Handicraft and Gift Fair (IHGF) at Indian Expo Mart, Greater Noida by lighting the lamp today.
The five-day long handicraft event is Asia’s largest gift and handicraft fair held biannually (Spring and Autumn edition) organised by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH). The fair will conclude on February 27. Major national and international exhibitors and buyers from Germany, the USA, Denmark, the UK, France and so on have been participating in the event.
While addressing the event, Secretary of Union Textile Ministry said, “IHGF Delhi is one of the world’s largest and most comprehensive sourcing fair, encompassing the complete supply chain of home fashion & utility, collectibles, gifting and fashion accessories. The fair is vital for international gifting and lifestyle products industry.”

“There is comprehensive representation of 27 states including all craft clusters of lndia, this edition features 3,106 exhibitors in fourteen well-spread product sectors, in enriched display areas across 14 halls at lndia Expo Centre, Greater Noida. Besides, more than 30 International buyers and exhibitors and companies is also participating the event.” He added.
There are exuberent Theme Pavilions, emphatic presence of Mega Craft Clusters like Jodhpur, regional representations from States of North Eastern Region and Jammu & Kashmir, regional artisan crafts, product lines from primary producers from far flung craft villages as well as innovations from EPCH’s Integrated Design Development Projects. There would be a Designers Forum as well.
