(31/03/18) New Delhi: Hisar MP and leader of Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), Dushyant Chautala on Saturday rap Haryana government for nurturing mushroom corruption in Health Department of the state and demanded CAG audit and CBI enquiry into this matter.

While addressing media at his residence in New Delhi, he alleged that a corruption of around Rs 300 crore in the health department of Haryana is under the carpet. In the name of National Health Policy (NHP) and Chief Minister Free Treatment Scheme, state ministers, officials have looted taxpayers’ money. He claimed on the basis of government reports and RTI.

“In name of purchasing medical equipments, medicines, ambulance expenditure, pregnancy strips, state government ministers with the help of Health Department officials looted public money,” said Dushyant Chautala.
He further said, “The same equipments, medicines, pregnancy strips purchased on different rates on different districts. In some place there is around 400 to 500 % jump”, he asserted.

While addressing media he further said that Haryana government is awarding medical tenders only to four to five companies GK Trading, Krishna enterprises, Shagun, Salasar and Om Surgicals.
“These companies are mostly in the name of doctors, or health department officials. And all these things are happening under the nose of state health Minister Anil Vij,” Chautala added.

Moreover, at one stance, Haryana Medical Corporation awarded medical tender to Om Surgical which blacklisted by the state government a year. “This is horrible.” He said.

After going though all documents, “I must say, this is around Rs 300 crore scam. The state government should take cognizance in this matter and register FIR against the officials and order a CBI probe. Moreover, government also conduct CAG audit of last five years.”
