Over 1,500 Indian pilgrims on Mansarovar Yatra stranded

Over 1,500 Indian pilgrims on Kailash Mansarovar Yatra are stranded on their way through Nepal due to bad weather conditions. The Indian government has sought assistance from the Nepalese government and asked them to deploy Army helicopters to evacuate the Indian nationals. Out of the stranded Indians, at least 290 are reported to be from Karnataka.
