Companies being offered Naming Rights for Noida-Greater Noida route metro stations, two more coaches arrive at Depot

Noida-Greater Noida metro line has now received two more metro trains delivery and one more metro train will also be delivered by end of this month. With this the route will now have a total of five metro trains. In the first phase of the project totall 11 metro trains have to be delivered and for now trials are underway on 10 Km of route using three Metro trains.
Noida Metro Rail Corporation executive director PD Upadhyay said that two metro trains had arrived in Greater Noida metro deport on Monday late evening. All the stations falling over this route will also be offered to companies for their naming rights. They will also have the right to advertise and will be provided 400 to 650 square meters of area for advertisement. He said that 16 institutions of Noida, Greater Noida and Delhi have expressed their intention to take this right in the pre bid exercise.
However as part of corporate social responsibility the company that gets these rights will have to be reserve about 5% of total advertisement space at each station for carrying out social marketing activities or social massages by NMRC.
Parking facilities is also proposed on about 18 metro stations of this metro route.
Executive director has informed media that about 60 percent of the work of signals and placing of OHE wire has been completed and work of placing escalators and elevators has also been begin at the stations..
