Pro-Kabaddi League prospect at Greater Noida Encounters Roadblock, attempts underway to get approvals

Again a question mark has been raised over the organization of Pro Kabaddi League in Greater Noida’s Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex. B

efore organizing any such tournaments in the premises of sport complex, authority will have to obtain permission from the very renowned badminton coach Pullela Gopichand as he runs badminton academy here.

As per the tie-up he had with Greater Noida authority, his consent is must before organizing any such tournament. So now officials are in contact with Pullela Gopichand and trying to get a positive response.

On the other side organizers of the Pro Kabaddi also had visited the sport complex and the campus of Gautam Budha University. After their inspection they are prioritizing sport complex for the tournament. As per the information the organizers had visited the complex for 3 times and are happy with infrastructure available there. Probably there would be tie-up for three years .
