HCL Foundation Signs Three MoUs with District Administration of Gautam Budh Nagar

Noida: HCL Foundation, corporate social responsibility arm of HCL, has signed three Memorandums of Understanding with the District Administration of Gautam Budh Nagar (Noida). HCL Foundation and District Administration are working together to achieve the larger goal in the development of Noida.

The three MoUs are signed for providing long term of Strengthing Public Health Facilities, Gender Equity and Self Effiency and to provide Early Childhood Care and Devolopment (ECCD).

Speaking on the Occasion, Nidhi Pundhir, Director, CSR and Head, HCL Foundation, said,

“HCL Foundation is implementing community based health intervention in Noida, Gautam Budh Nagar under HCL uday. The programme aims towards working with health system such as the primary health centres and community health centres to improve cliental outreach for uptake of the services. We have also initiated My Worth Program, a comprehensive programme to enhance gender equity and self-efficacy of students by providing Structured curriculum to help them.”

She further said, “Through interventions across early, primary, secondary, adult, digital, sports and civic education, HCL Foundation fosters human resource development. Our programmes adress all stages of life, including imparting soft skills that are needed for better quality of life.”

Brajesh Narain Singh, District Magistrate, Gautam Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh said,

“MLA Pankaj Singh is Energetic and Enthusiastic. He always look forward for some positive development in Noida. We will give full cooperation for the smoothly process. Our MLA is very dynamic he keeps on working on various things for the development of Noida.
This unique partnership with HCL Foundation shall help in improving the quality of education, the quality of services delivery in Aanganwandi Centres and Gender Equity.”

Pankaj Singh, MP, Noida, Gautam Budh Nagar said, “It’s a small step but it will surely have a bigger impact. Administration and HCL has started this thing. I don’t know how things use to work in other districts with CSR. DM BN Singh has decided that work done by any corporate should be done in a structured form. The work on schools has been started by HCL then many corporates joined in and i’m glad to say that, if i talk about only Noida Constituency all the 84 schools are under corporates or administration.”
