11 companies participate in pre bid meeting to propose suitable transport medium

Eleven companies had shown their interest for a conducting a study for setuping a multi model transport connectivity for upcoming Noida International Airport.

Yesterday in a meeting held at YEDIA office, representative of eleven different companies had participated in pre bid meeting as well as given a presentation over it in front of CEO, YEDIA.

Yamuna Authority is looking for a suitable transport medium to provide connectivity to the airport. Regarding this authority also had conducted survey for estimating the number of passengers that will commute through the airport. The survey was conducted in 22 different district including the western Uttar Pradesh, Uttrakhand , Haryana, Rajasthan and in Delhi. After the survey it’s been estimated national capital will provide the highest number of passengers to the airport.

The company that will be selected through the bid will present a report after conducting a study over which mode of connectivity will the suitable, sustainable and affordable between Noida International Airport to IGI Airport Delhi. A study will also look after connectivity between the densely populated areas of Delhi NCR region to Noida International Airport.

There are different transport connectivity models like PRT, Metro, Pod, Hyper loop, Tram and Busses after which company will look for during their study and advising the suggestion to YEDIA. For connecting the airport with rapid rail transport the NCRTC already had signed a contract for preparing a report on this by DMRC.
