Vice president of private firm commits suicide after getting terminated over sexual misconduct allegations

Greater Noida (20/12/2018) : A senior employee of a private firm committed suicide after being unable to handle the humiliation from the allegation of sexual assault against him.The case was registered in the Expressway Police Station.
As per the information Swaroop Raj, Vice President in Genpect (a Private firm situated in Surajpur Greater Noida) had committed suicide in his residence by hanging himself from ceiling fan. Swaroop, who was terminated from his company after an investigation conducted against him by the internal investigation committee of the firm. As two women employee of the firm had levelled sexual assault allegations on him.
On December 18th Morning, Police got the information of the incident.
Police reached and recovered the body from flat number 804 in tower 9 of paramount society under sector 137.
Nishank Sharma, Circle Officer, Greater Noida, told that “Police had also recovered a Suicide note from the spot and we are looking in the matter for accessing more details.”
In the suicide note recovered from the spot “Swaroop, referring to his wife Kriti, mentioned himself innocent in the incident and said all the sexual allegations on him was totally baseless”.
Now only after a proper investigation it will get clear that whether the sexual allegations on Swaroop are true or they are levelled with the intention of getting any kind of favor.
