New Delhi: Confederation of Ex Paramilitary Forces Welfare Associations New Delhi, (CRPF BSF CISF ITBP SSB, Sashastra Seema Bal & Assam Rifles ) representing 20 lakh personnel organized
a press conference at Press Club of India in New Delhi to draw the attention of the Government towards their demands like Implementation of one rank one pension pension scheme.

Speaking to Ten News, V.S. Kadam Treasurer of the Confederation, said,

“There is a wide spread anger in the Paramilitary families for failure of the Government for redressal of their grievances . Nothing has done by the present or past Govt. then why we should cast our vote in favour of these political parties? Why there is no Pension after 2004 appointees, no one rank one pension, no PMSP (Paramilitary Special Pay), no GST rebate to Central Police Canteen (CPC), no better health facility, no State Welfare Board, no Ex servicemen status.”

He further said, “Even Honourable Supreme Court,High Court had directed to implement NFFU (Non Functional Financial Up gradation) in Paramilitary Forces . But the same has not been implemented so far, which shows the Government is how much serious about the welfare of Paramilitary Force Personnel.”

“Since after Independence 34000 para military jawans gave supreme sacrifice to the nation but no martyrs status given yet. There is our presence in each and every corners from chilled ladakh to Arunachal Pradesh & secured 15 thousand Km long borders by BSF, ITBP & SSB, while CRPF the largest peacekeeper dying daily in burning Kashmir & naxal affected States. CISF secured our ports, Aiports, Metro Rail & other industrial installations. The Govt. has fully ignored our genuine demands. The Parliament maha panchayat has decided to vote in favour of those political parties who will include our genuine demands in their election Manifesto.”
