Parents protest at Jantar Mantar against unfair fee hike by Summer Fields School

New Delhi:(21/04/2019) Parents from across the state staged a protest at Jantar Mantar on Sunday against the unjustified fee hike and illegal charges brought in by Summer Fields School Kailash Colony, New Delhi.

Parents alleged that Summer Fields School at Kailash colony hiked their fees almost 50% and not even bothering to listen our requests and are creating pressure to to pay fees.

While speaking to Ten News, said, Parents said, “Summer Fields School has hiked the fees as well as demanding arrears without waiting. We request CM sir and education minister to do something as education is becoming high profit business”

They Further said, “We demand, School to Roll back fee hike with immediate effect and also demand Audit Reports for this year as well as previous year. We have submitted the request to Directorate of Education (DOE) for audit
of Summer Fields School. We have Requested DOE to direct the school not to force parents & harass students to
pay hiked fee till audit report is completed.”

“We also demand Parents hub representative should be present during audit of School. DOE should direct the school not to charge late payment fee till the resolution,” added Parents.
