New Delhi: Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman addressing Media at BJP Headquarters after Rahul Gandhi’s Rafale admission in the Supreme Court said that,
Rahul Gandhi’s credibility has already taken a beating and has lost his credibility.
“Rahul Gandhi has taken a politically convenient argument by saying that he has regretted the remark.Rahul Gandhi’s credibility has already taken a beating. He has lost his credibility. I feel sorry for the President of the Congress Party,” she said.
She further said, “I feel sorry that the President of such an old party, Congress has to depend on falsehoods.Do they want us to be the victim of terror and violence? I want to ask the Congress, what is the behaviour of change that they are asking for? Do they want us to stop taking action against terrorism.”
“P Chidambaram recently made a statement that in order to change Pakistan’s behavior, we must also change. Do they want us to compromise our territory. do they want us to negotiate even as terror continues?. It’s for the Party to clarify Chidambaram’s statement on Pakistan,” added Sitharaman.
