Second compensation package for Noida International Airport gets nod from administration

Greater Noida (5/5/2019): District administration of Gautam Budhha Nagar is all set to announce second phase of compensation for three more villages falling under Noida International Airport land acquisition on Monday. This time administration will be providing a package of 2,570 crore rupees for farmers of Dayanatpur, Rohi and Kishorpur village.
The compensation amount got clearance from Meerut commissioner Anita Meshram. Dayanatpur will get a total compensation of Rs 1,015 crore, Rohi will get Rs 1,128 crore for 433 hectares and Kishorpur Rs 427 crore for 172 hectares.
The funds will be transferred through RTGS, for that farmers has been asked to submit the required details of their bank accounts. The district administration had on April 15 began the compensation process for six villages – Banwariwas, Dayanatpur, Kishorpur, Parohi, Ranhera and Rohi. Out of these six village 200 landowners of Ranhera, Parohi and Banwariwas had already been provided with the compensation.
A total of 1,239 hectares of land has been notified by the administration for first phase acquisition and 624 crore had already been cleared for that.
As per the social impact assessment report, the land is owned by 8,971 families, of which there are 3,627 families whose farming as well residential has been identified for acquisition. Affected farmers will be shifted in a phase-wise manner for which administration had also identified the land but yet to buy it.
