New Delhi: YouTube Sensations Bhuvan Bam and Ashish Chanchlani shared a single stage on Wednesday at the launch Vivo Z1 Pro in New Delhi. Both the Comedian like always were in jolly mood and unboxed the smartphone in a unique way.

After several YouTube videos and a leak fest, the Vivo Z1 Pro was finally launched in India. Vivo has pulled off something really good for the Indian market this time around. That isn’t usually the case as the company falls below the likes of Realme and Redmi in the pecking order when it comes to value-for-money. Not this time.

The Vivo Z1 Pro starts at 14,990 ($217) for the base 4GB + 64GB version while the top specced, 6/128GB variant costs as low as Rs 17,990 ($261). Those are phenomenally low prices for a company like Vivo seeing what all they’re offering at that meagre price.

The Vivo Z1 Pro comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD FHD+ display with a punch-hole camera giving it a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. In terms of processing, the phone comes with a Snapdragon 712 SoC which is a first for any device in the country and it is backed by a capable Adreno 616 GPU.

Camera-wise the device has a triple-camera setup with 16 MP main lens, 8 MP super wide-angle lens, and 2 MP bokeh camera. On the front of the device, there is a 32 MP selfie camera which can take AI-enabled portrait shots.

Other notable features include a new user interface with dark mode, a dedicated button for Google Assistant, and Widevine L1 certification. It will be offered in three colours – Sonic Blue, Mirror Black, and Sonic Black. The smartphone will be available via its first sale on July 11 via Flipkart and Vivo’s own website.
