Deepika Padukone forgets she is a wife, says ‘Oh god, I forgot!’
New Delhi: Bollywood’s diva Deepika Padukone is again making the headlines for being hilarious and this time the reason is the actor’s forgetfulness. She was in the national capital to attend an event for her charity foundation The Live Love Laugh Foundation, where during a conversation Deepika forgot that she is married.
In the viral video, Deepika can be seen recounting the roles she is playing in her real-life, “I’m a daughter, I’m a sister, I’m an actor…” At this point, she stopped to recollect her thoughts, when she is interrupted by the panel moderator and reminded “A wife.” Her reaction to this was priceless. “I’m a wife… Oh god, I forgot!” and the audience cracked up at the goof-up instantly. Deepika and Ranveer Singh got married in Italy’s Lake Como in October last year in a private ceremony.

On a lighter note, Deepika Padukone has started sharing ROFL memes tagging Ranveer Singh about couple goals (or not). The recent one being in reference to how Ranveer rescues her when she can’t finish a meal. The actor has called her husband ‘trashcan’ jokingly.
Deepika, recently came back from London, along with her husband and actor Ranveer Singh, after completing the shoot for Kabir Khan’s 83. The film is based on Indian team victory at the cricket World Cup in 1983. Actor Ranveer is playing the role of veteran cricketer Kapil Dev in the film, while Deepika will be seen as his wife Romi Dev. The film cast also includes Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Saqib Saleem, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Harrdy Sandhu and Ammy Virk in pivotal roles. The film is set to hit theatres on April 10 next year.
Meanwhile, the actor is also awaiting the release of her film Chhapaak, in which she will be seen as an acid attack survivor. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film will release on January 10, 2020. The film also stars Vikrant Massey. It is also Deepika’s debut production.
