Noida buildings may follow suit, says Ex-RWA President on Gurugram building collapse questioning material quality

Noida, 11th Feb: A day after a residential building collapsed in Gurugram’s Sector 109, the EX-RWA President of Noida sector 74 Dhananjay Kumar Singh warned the people that a similar incident may hit Noida buildings.

According to Dhananjay, “Noida builders also use cheap materials in the high rise buildings to save money, because of which many societies are in very bad shape. If some action is not taken immediately, this city will also witness incidents like these.”

“I appeal to Noida  Authority to take this incident as a warning, and to conduct a structural audit in the city to check the situation of the infrastructures that is present till date to avoid such kind of events. The Authority should also conduct a inspection of the material used by the builder at the time when the building is under construction and only then the possession should be given to the buyers,” he added.
