India, 12th April, 2022: It is indeed surprising how a religious violence started in a small city in Madhya Pradesh has led to violent clashes in the other parts of the country, provoking social media fights between Hindus and Muslims.

People from the Muslim community had urged the Hindus to keep their religious procession away from the ‘Muslim areas’, which has triggered the people from the Hindu community.

Since the “no-go areas” for the Hindus have been defined, Hindus believe that if the Muslims are demanding designated Muslim areas, then there should be designated Hindu areas where Muslim religious processions should be banned.

“By blaming Hindus for venturing into ‘Muslim Areas’ you are dividing India again. If history taught us anything it is that Muslim areas soon turn into Muslim countries,” tweets Anand Ranganathan, Consulting Editor and Columnist.

While it was alleged that in the most places where there is violence, the procession is taken through Muslim areas, past mosques with aggressive sloganeering, and jeering, Invariably reports of stone pelting and then clashes, the Hindu Community has defended their stance by stating that it all started from the Ram Navami Procession in Madhya Pradesh where a Muslim mob pelted stones on the procession, after which the state government decided to demolish the houses of rioters who were potentially young Muslims. Soon after, several protests took place in other parts of the country like Joda, Orissa where a Muslim mob attacked such procession.
