New Delhi, 16 May 2022: The Indian B-School Leadership Conclave by EPSI is the need of the hour as it helps business schools in changing and adapting to the new corporate, said Dr Bhimaraya Metri, Director, IIM Nagpur at the conclave.
“Due to the pandemic, many things have changed and a new normal has come. We are reimagining the Indian business schools and their future,” added Dr Metri.
When asked about the incorporation of practical learning in the curriculum at IIM Nagpur, Dr Metri said that IIM Nagpur, with the NEP (National Education Policy) in mind, has revised the curriculum. “Along with theory knowledge we have introduced phenomena-based learning,” he added.
“Our students go to Singapore, Dubai, Korea, France and do experience based learning. This global exposure and cross-culture understanding involves balancing theory and practical knowledge. In today’s time, along with competency, capability is also important, development of skills as well as development of growth mindset is of prime importance,” Dr Metri commented.
“Those who are passionate, who make sense of the future and those who are perpetual learners – continuously learning unlearning and new learning, they are going to lead the world,” said Br Bhimaraya Metri.
