New Delhi, 7 June 2022: As part of Azadi Ka Amirt Mahotsav Celebration, Bank of Maharashtra on Monday organized a Customer Connect and Outreach Programme in New Delhi to share its accomplishment’s in the past years, build trust with customers and to sanction their loans worth Rs. 250 crores.
The chief guest for the event was Minister of State for Finance Dr. Bhagwat Karad. He was welcomed by the Executive Director of BOM Asheesh Pandey and Zonal Manager Delhi Chitra Datar.
The chief guest, Dr Bhagwat Karad in his address said that among all the 12 public sector banks, the Bank of Maharashtra has showcased outstanding performance on various indicators.
“In this financial year 2021-2022, all government of India banks are in profits. Despite Covid, the business of all these banks have increased. The finance minister of India had introduced several schemes that kept the economy running.” He also stated that, “under the leadership of Prime Minister, India has become the fastest growing economy in the world.”
The Executive Director of Bank of Maharashtra, Asheesh Pandey, in his address, highlighted that as a government bank, they have to keep in mind the welfare of the people as well as yield profits while working with the government.
“As far as the customer connect and outreach programme, we are undertaking these events more after the Covid pandemic. It is a symbol of our gratitude for the customers and also to reach out to the customers, understanding them and sanctioning their proposals,” he added.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr Bhagwat Karad, the Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance, Asheesh Pandey, Executive Director, Chitra Datar, General Manager and Zonal Head, Delhi Zone, Branch Managers and Other Management staff from Bank of Maharashtra, and customers from the bank branches.
