Exhibition Showcase honours Industry stalwarts at Exhibition Excellence Awards, 2022

New Delhi, July 9, 2022: Exhibition Showcase on Friday hosted the 6th Exhibition Excellence Awards, 2022 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida to recognize and honour the industry stalwarts in 3 categories – exhibition organizers, exhibition venues and service providers.
Mr. Raghav Khosla, Group Editor at Exhibition Showcase, addressed the ceremony’s audience. He stated, “this year, we are trying to promote the Indian Exhibition Industry on a global level.” He extended his gratitude to the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and the National Small Industries Corportaion for the support. He also welcomed the dignitaries present at the ceremony and thanked them for their contributions to the growth of the industry.
Ms. Sonia Prashar, the President of the Indian Exhibition Industry Association (IEIA) also spoke at the event. She stated that the past few months have been very encouraging for the industry. “The response has been very good,” she noted. “We are going to build the future of our exhibition industry.” Ms. Prashar claimed that face-to-face exhibitions are very vital for the growth of the industry.
Further, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, the Director-General of the Export Promotion Council of Handicrafts (EPCH) and Chairman of India Exposition Mart Ltd. (IEML), also spoke on the occasion. “The spirit of winning is so much required in the current challenging times,” he expressed. He stated that the response coming to the exhibitions has been unprecedented. “It is always good to celebrate excellence. There is much to learn from each other,” he stated.
Other dignitaries present at the ceremony included Ravinder Sethi, Managing Director, R.E.Rogers India Pvt. Ltd, Amaresh Tiwari, Vice Chairman, India Convention Promotion Bureau (ICPB), P Udayakumar, Director (Planning & Marketing), NSIC, Sunil More, President at Indian Exhibitions, Conferences and Events Services Association (IESA), and Naveen Seth, Assistant Secretary-General, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
