New Delhi (India), 7th April 2023: Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, has acknowledged that he faithfully begins each day at 5 a.m. by reading the customer reviews that have been sent to the business.
In an interview with GQ Magazine, he stated, “If you’re in the business, like we are, of creating technology that really enriches people’s lives – you want to know what it’s doing. You want to know how people are feeling about it.”
He further added, “Of course, I get some complaints as well. Those are cool too because I want to stay grounded in terms of what our users are thinking, what they’re feeling.”
He feels that customer feedback motivates him since it makes him happy to know that Apple’s innovations and products are improving people’s lives. The executive also discussed how positive client feedback improves his mornings and motivates him to perform better.
He gave the example of a client who had an iPhone 14 and told him that the device’s collision detection feature had helped him call for assistance when he had a seizure. The Emergency Satellite Connectivity function of the phone, which enables people to call for emergency services in areas where there is no mobile network, was then highlighted by Mr. Cook.
The fact that Tim Cook is one of the few CEOs of a major technological company whose email address is available to the general public suggests that the business is dedicated to providing a better product and making sure Apple takes consumer feedback into account.
