Surat (Gujarat), 14th April 2023: With their new robot, a group of four Surat students have made a big advancement in the technology field. A robot that these students constructed can walk like a human and even pull a rickshaw. The idea of developing this cutting-edge robot was to increase its capability so that it could be employed in diverse domains for different purposes.
It only took 25 days and 30,000 rupees. Social media platforms and other places have been talking about this amazing feat.
The design of the robot was based on a careful analysis of human legs and stride, according to Maurya Shivam, one of the project’s students. He noted that it has undergone successful tests for use when walking on roads.
“This is our road-tested prototype,” one of the students said. Additionally he said, there is still work to be done on the leg, hand, head, and face of the robot. We made an effort to have it walk the same way a typical human would, he told PTI.
This robot demonstrates the creativity and talent of these young children. They believe that the further features they intend to provide will eventually enable the robot to be used in a variety of fields and for a variety of reasons.
It also provides a strong example of how robotics has the ability to advance civilisation. Although still a prototype, this robot has promising future.
Despite worries about job loss and the moral ramifications of utilising robots, many experts think that society will ultimately gain from robots because they will increase productivity, efficiency, and safety.
