New Delhi (India), April 26, 2023: The Delhi Public School, situated on Mathura Road, received an ominous email today threatening the presence of a bomb within its premises. Following the threat, the school was evacuated, and the Delhi Police launched a search operation on the school grounds.
Fortunately, no explosive material was found on the campus, and the school was cleared after the search.
Commenting on the event, SDM Defence Colony Gaurav Saini said that it was a hoax call.
This incident comes shortly after “The Indian School” in Delhi’s Sadiq Nagar was threatened via email with a bomb within their premises earlier this month.
The school was promptly evacuated, and the bomb squad along with other agencies conducted an extensive search, but the email was eventually deemed to be a hoax.
