New Delhi, 21st May 2023: On a mission to unite opposition parties against the BJP ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal are working together.
CM Kumar travelled to Delhi today to meet with CM Kejriwal, who has proposed a Rajya Sabha “plan” that might be a “semi-final” before the general elections. Tejashwi Yadav, Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister and RJD politician, was also present at the meeting.
Kejriwal called the Centre’s introduction of an Ordinance to evade a massive Supreme Court judgement in favour of the AAP-led government “unconstitutional,” and claimed Nitish Kumar had given him “full support” on the issue, which they will fight together.
CM Kejriwal is also set to meet with Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray and NCP Chief Sharad Pawar in Mumbai to discuss the plot to stop the Ordinance in the Rajya Sabha.
