Cylinders at Rs500, monthly funds to women: Congress makes big promises for MP elections

Madhya Pradesh, 22nd May 2023: After their euphoric win in the Karnataka elections, Congress leaders now focus on the upcoming Assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh.

The leaders of the National Party have made five essential promises to the people in the state, including giving them gas cylinders at Rs.500 and monetary assistance of Rs. 1500 to every woman per month.

They have also promised a farm loan waiver and implementation of the old pension scheme in the state along with 100 units of free electricity and 200 units at half the rate.

This comes as Senior party leader, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is all set to start campaigning in the state from June 12. The first event is scheduled to be a roadshow and a rally in Jabalpur, where she is also expected to offer her prayers at the Narmada river.
