Ranveer Singh signs ‘Baiju Bawra’, Don 3 to be his next big Appearances: Sources

Mumbai (India), 1st June 2023: Ranveer Singh has spent the previous several months reading scripts in order to decide on his next few projects that will follow the upcoming ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’.

The actor had a distinct attitude to zero-in on his next few projects, that means, do pictures with theatrical value, and it appears that Ranveer has now opted to lock in two films, which will be shot over a two-year period in 2024 and 2025. According to insiders, Ranveer Singh’s next two projects would be ‘Baiju Bawra’ and ‘Don 3’.

The source quoted by Pinkvilla stated that Ranveer has been in talks with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for a long time, and after many ups and downs, the pair is reunited on ‘Baiju Bawra’.

The economics were an issue, but Ranveer has always been an actor who prioritises craft and screenplay before money, so he agreed to an arrangement that allows Bhansali to invest all of the money into creating the picture. ‘Baiju Bawra’ is scheduled to launch in early 2024.

Alia Bhatt has been cast as the female lead alongside Ranveer Singh in the film, and a large ensemble will be assembled before the film goes into production in February of next year.

The source stated, “Apart from Alia, Bhansali is in talks with two other actresses for the character of dacoit queen Roopmati. The conversations should close the loop in the next 20 to 25 days.”

Following ‘Baiju Bawra’, Ranveer will play Don in the revival of this Farhan Akhtar-directed film.
The source stated, “Ranveer has also shot a promo for Don 3 with Farhan, which might be out when the team decides to make an official announcement.”

Ranveer Singh is also slated to film ‘Singham Again’ alongside Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn before going on to ‘Baiju Bawra’.

“Ranveer Singh will be shooting for ‘Singham Again’ for about 30 to 35 days.” His character is crucial to everything that happens in the Singham Verse, and this time he’s more than just a cameo. The specific dates are unknown, but he will complete his work on ‘Singham Again’ this year.
