Gal Gadot calls Alia Bhatt her ‘buddy, sister’, says she’s ‘super ready’ for Hollywood

Mumbai(India), 08/08/23: Gal Gadot, the star of Wonder Woman, is impressed with Alia Bhatt. The Hollywood star, whose latest action thriller Heart of Stone marks Alia’s international debut, believes the actor’s transition to the American film industry will be a “healthy evolution.”

In an exclusive interview with Hindustan Times Gal noted that she shares a lot of similarities with Alia and she was especially in awe of her ‘No Bullsh*t’ attitude.

Gal commented, “We share so much in common. From the very first time we met, I felt we connected. Not just because both of us are from different countries and English is not our native language and the culture we come from is very different, but she brings a lot of warmth with her. Also, a lot of, if I can say, cut the bullsh*t attitude. She’s always blunt. For me, as an Israeli, it’s delightful. You get what you see.”

When asked about whether she has any kind of advice for Alia, Gal replied that she doesn’t as Alia is already a seasoned actress with a decade long acting experience in Bollywood.

Gal was quoted during the interview, “She comes with such experience, working for over a decade in India. And India, you guys are massive! So she knows how to handle the heat. Breaking into the American market is going to be a smooth, healthy evolution or transition for Alia. I think she’s super ready. If she ever needs anything, she’s my buddy, she’s my sister, she has my number, she has my address. I’m always here for her.”

Alia was recently seen in ‘Rocky aur Rani kii Prem Kahanii’ alongside Ranveer Singh. The movie has managed to win the hearts of many in the country and has almost entered the ₹100cr tier within the first week of its release.
