New Delhi, August 18, 2023: Dattatreya Hosabale, the General Secretary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), spoke on Thursday about India’s commitment to humanity and its mission to serve as a guiding light to the world through its cultural values and distinctive vision of life. Hosabale addressed the ‘Amritashatam’ lecture series organized by Kesari Weekly in Kozhikode.
“India lives for humanity. India’s mission is to shed light as a beacon to the world with its cultural values and unique vision of life. For this, it is necessary to strengthen the strong sense of nationalism among Indians. Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar made this into a reality by founding the RSS,” he stated.
Hosabale emphasized the historical role of the RSS during the freedom movement and its transformation into a national organization after independence.
“The history of the Sangh cannot be understood without understanding the life of its founder. He dedicated every inch of his life to realizing the idea of a model nation. Dr. Hedgewar was a born patriot, actively involved in the freedom struggle since childhood,” he explained.
Hosabale highlighted Hedgewar’s vision for achieving “national glory” through the RSS.
“He believed that the attainment of freedom required becoming an organized nation with a strong cultural foundation. The aim of national glory could be realized through the organization,” Hosabale affirmed.
The RSS leader’s speech underscored the organization’s historical role in India’s journey towards freedom and its ongoing commitment to nurturing cultural values for the betterment of the nation and humanity.
