Greater Noida, December 21st: In a triumph of intellect and innovation, the BitBot team, composed of six adept students from diverse branches of GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management, emerged as the champions at the esteemed Smart India Hackathon (SIH-2023) held from December 19th to 20th, 2023.
Leading the stellar team was Mahima Maurya, a second-year student from the IT branch, whose exceptional problem-solving skills and innovative prowess guided BitBot to claim the coveted top spot at the hackathon. The team, comprised entirely of second-year students, boasted a lineup of talented individuals including Prachi Agarwal (CSE AI), Aditya Srivastava (CSE AIDS), Ashutosh Gupta (IT), Lalit Kumar (CSE AIML), and Yuvraj Singh Shishodia (CSE).
Throughout the intense hackathon, BitBot showcased not only technical brilliance but also an exemplary spirit of collaboration. The team’s success was further accentuated by their mentorship under dedicated college professors, underscoring the institution’s commitment to nurturing innovation and problem-solving skills among its students. Their efforts earned them a well-deserved cash prize of 1 Lakh, along with certificates of achievement.
