Independence Day celebrated at Galgotias University with great enthusiasm
The 78th Independence Day was celebrated at Galgotias University with great enthusiasm today.
Mr. Sunil Galgotia, Chancellor of Galgotias University, paid tribute to the martyrs, stating that the entire nation honors those brave souls who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country. Their invaluable lives were offered in the quest for our nation’s independence.
Remembering the martyrs, Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, CEO of the University, expressed pride in the nation’s heroes and affirmed that the nation will always be indebted to them for their sacrifices. August 15th symbolizes India’s Independence and serves as a source of new inspiration, reminding us of the struggles of our freedom fighters and the importance of our freedom. It also underscores our responsibilities towards the nation’s progress.
Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr. Avadhesh Kumar, hoisted the national flag at the University campus and addressed the students, emphasizing that we should draw inspiration from the lives of our martyrs and maintain a spirit of dedication towards our nation.
Registrar Dr. Nitin Gaur stated that we should resolve to make our country stronger, united, and prosperous. The event was also graced by NCC officers Dushyant Rana, Gargi Tyagi, various departmental deans, and many faculty members.
As part of the cultural programs, students presented remarkable performances including dance, drama, and patriotic songs, infusing the atmosphere with vibrant nationalistic spirit.
