Mata Ki Chowki was organized at I.T.S Dental College, Hospital & Research Centre, Greater Noida on 20th September 2014 to mark the commencement of the new B.D.S & M.D.S academic session.
The occasion was graced by the presence of the Hon. Chairman ITS- The Education Group Dr. R.P Chadha accompanied by Mrs. Meera Chadha and The Vice- Chairman Mr. Arpit Chadha. The occasion was also marked by the presence of Hon. Secretary Mr. Bhushan Arora along with his family members and Principal Dr. Puneet Ahuja & Chief Administrator Mr. S. Sood and Director –P.G Studies Dr. Anmol S. Kalha. The ceremony of “Akhand Jyoti Prajawalit” was done by the auspicious hand of Dr. R.P Chadha and was followed by Bhajans & Jhankis.
All the faculty members and the students of ITS Dental College, Greater Noida along with their family members attended the occasion to seek the blessings of the Almighty. The chowki began with an invocation mantra of Sri Ganesh worship and conventional prayer of Maa Durga who is an embodiment of the divine energy and the creative power.
There was a team of people who sang bhajans in praise of Goddess Durga and a beautiful dance was performed to enchant the audience present. The whole ambience was echoing with melodious songs and chanting of mantras.
The positivity in the atmosphere could be felt as all were engrossed in the religious ceremony. Students as well as the faculty members participated in the program very enthusiastically.
The program ended with final offerings (aarti) to Goddess Durga followed by prasad and lunch to all the invitees.
The I.T.S Management came in for a well deserved high praise from all the invitees for organizing this program which removes all negative energies of the environment and makes it pious and virtuous for all.
