21 Teams Qualify for Final Tests at ISIEINDIA Formula Imperial 2024

Galgotias University, October 5-11, 2024 – A total of 21 teams have successfully passed the final technical inspections at the prestigious ISIEINDIA Formula Imperial 2024 event. These teams are now set to undertake critical evaluations, including the brake test, acceleration test, and cross pad test. Following these assessments, the top qualifying teams will compete in the grand finale at the Buddh International Circuit on October 11, 2024.

The event has garnered significant attention from both students and industry professionals. As part of the technical rounds, an expert talk on “Recent Trends in the Automotive Industry” was delivered by Mayank Dwivedi, Senior Technology Expert at ANSYS. The session took place in the university auditorium, where Dr. PKS Nain, Chief Proctor and Dean of Students’ Welfare (DSW), welcomed the guest with a bouquet presentation.

During his insightful talk, Mayank Dwivedi shared valuable knowledge on cutting-edge trends in smart manufacturing, automotive design, and artificial intelligence (AI), highlighting their impact on the future of the automotive industry. He also engaged with students regarding opportunities for internships and career prospects in these rapidly evolving fields. The session concluded with Dr. Avadhesh Kumar, Pro Vice-Chancellor, presenting a memento to the guest as a token of appreciation.

In addition to the expert talk, first-year mechanical engineering students, accompanied by faculty members, visited the participating teams. These visits provided students with the opportunity to interact with team members and discuss challenges related to design, technical issues, and innovations in the electric vehicle (EV) sector. The students gained practical exposure to the complexities of karting design and engineering while learning the importance of technical inspections and safety protocols. These interactions allowed students to expand their professional networks and connect with industry experts.
