Galgotias University inaugurates AICTE ATAL EDUSKILLS 6-day Faculty Development Program

The 6-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Microchip Embedded Systems commenced with great enthusiasm at Galgotias University. Organized by the Department of Electrical, Electronics, and Communication Engineering, Galgotias University, in association with EduSkills Foundation and Microchip Technology, the program aims to enhance the technical expertise of faculty members in embedded systems.

The program began with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, followed by a welcome address by the organizing secretary.

The Vice Chancellor, Dr. K.M. Babu, delivered a motivational speech emphasizing the importance of innovation and continuous learning in technical education. He encouraged the participants to adopt this advanced technology in their teaching and provide practical knowledge to students.

The Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr. Avadhesh Kumar, stressed the need for collaboration between academia and industry. He motivated the participants to contribute to research and international publications.

The Chancellor of Galgotias University, Mr. Sunil Galgotia, stated that such programs help teachers become technically proficient and research-oriented. He emphasized the importance of increasing collaboration with industries and promoting innovation.

The CEO of Galgotias University, Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, highlighted the impact of embedded systems and artificial intelligence on the future. He encouraged the participants to make the most of this program and adopt innovative technologies.

The chief guest, Mr. Prabhupada Samal (EduSkills Foundation), presented a comprehensive technical session on the basics of embedded systems. He explained the intricacies of embedded architecture, microcontrollers, and programming using Microchip kits. The participants showed great interest in this session and asked important technical questions.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Meenakshi Awasthi (Head of the Department). She expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, experts, and participants for making this knowledge-sharing session a success.

The participants looked forward to gaining a deeper understanding of Microchip embedded systems and exploring new opportunities for industry collaboration.
