Indian-Origin Adya Srivastava Crowned Miss Universe Ireland 2025

Greater Noida (08 October 2025): Bringing pride to India and her roots in Greater Noida, Adya Srivastava, of Indian origin, has been crowned Miss Universe Ireland 2025. She will now represent Ireland at the 74th Miss Universe pageant, to be held later this year. The glittering coronation ceremony took place at the Hilton Hotel in Dublin, where Adya triumphed over several talented contestants to win the prestigious title. Her victory marks a proud moment for both Ireland and her family back in India.

Adya’s parents, Purva Srivastava and Aditya Srivastava, originally hail from Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Her maternal grandfather, B.K. Sharma, who resides in Greater Noida, and serves as the General Manager at Kailash Hospital, expressed immense joy and pride over her achievement.

Speaking to Ten News Network, B.K. Sharma said, It’s a moment of great pride for our family and for India. Adya has always been confident, disciplined, and passionate about representing both her cultures with grace.

According to Sharma, Adya’s parents moved to Ireland in 2005. Her father, Aditya Srivastava, works as the Executive Chef at a seven-star hotel in Ireland, while her mother, Purva, is a lecturer at a leading Irish university. Born in Galway, Adya grew up embracing both Indian and Irish values. She currently resides in County Mayo, where she continues her education alongside her modeling and pageant pursuits.

Adya’s win has received widespread applause from the Indian community in Ireland and back home in Greater Noida. Friends and relatives gathered to celebrate the moment, describing her as “a blend of intelligence, humility, and elegance.” With this victory, Adya Srivastava is set to take the global stage, representing Ireland at the Miss Universe 2025 competition, where she hopes to inspire young women around the world to believe in their dreams and embrace their roots with pride.
