YEIDA allots 200 acre land parcel to SAEL Industries Limited for integrated solar-manufacturing facility
Lucknow / Greater Noida: The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) announced the allotment of approximately 200 acres of industrial land in Sector 8, to SAEL Solar P6 Private Limited, a subsidiary of SAEL Industries Limited for setting-up an integrated solar manufacturing ecosystem worth an investment of INR 8,200 crores as per approval of State Government. The proposed facility will include TOPCon technology based 5 GW solar cell manufacturing and 5 GW solar module manufacturing lines.
The allotment is issued following the earlier letter of comfort extended to SAEL Industries Limited by the Government of Uttar Pradesh under YEIDA and UPINVEST and now formalised through a Letter of Allotment from YEIDA. CEO Yeida Rakesh Kumar Singh and OSD Shailendra Kumar Bhatia today handed over the allotment letter to the officials of SAEL.The facility will be located in the Yamuna Expressway corridor near to Jewar Airport which has been designated as a strategic industrial-growth zone within the state’s overall infrastructure and manufacturing push.
This allocation further underlines YEIDA’s proactive role in facilitating large-scale manufacturing investment in renewable energy and advanced manufacturing segments. SAEL’s new solar project is expected to leverage the region’s infrastructure advantages – connectivity to the upcoming Jewar airport and logistics hubs and the policy impetus of the Uttar Pradesh government for manufacturing-led growth.
