GIMS Signs MoU with ESIC to Expand Quality Healthcare Access for Insured Beneficiaries

GREATER NOIDA News (20 November 2025): The Government Institute of Medical Sciences (GIMS), Greater Noida, has been officially empanelled under the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday. The collaboration aims to enhance accessibility, affordability, and quality of healthcare services for ESIC beneficiaries and their dependents across the region.

During the signing ceremony, Dr. Savita Bhatia, Director (Medical), ESIC, praised GIMS for its consistent efforts in delivering modern, efficient, and patient-centric medical care. She highlighted GIMS as a rapidly growing healthcare institution known for its clinical excellence and strong focus on community welfare.

Brig. (Dr.) Rakesh K. Gupta, Director of GIMS, described the empanelment as a significant milestone for the institute. He noted that the partnership will allow GIMS to extend its advanced clinical facilities to a larger number of patients in need, thereby strengthening the public healthcare framework in Gautam Buddha Nagar and adjoining districts. He emphasized that the initiative reflects a shared commitment to improving healthcare outcomes for insured workers and their families.

With this empanelment, ESIC beneficiaries will now gain access to a wide range of healthcare services at GIMS, including specialized consultations, emergency care, advanced diagnostic facilities, and super-specialty treatments. Dr. Sona Bedi, Additional Director (Dispensaries), ESIC, was also present at the MoU signing ceremony, marking a collaborative step forward in enhancing medical coverage for thousands of insured individuals.
