Galgotias University’s MUN 2025 Concludes with Inspiring Delegate Experiences

Greater Noida News (30 November 2025): The two-day TGUMUN 2025 at Galgotias University under the futuristic leadership of Dr Dhruv Galgotia concluded with an inspiring and impactful closing ceremony, featuring Col. (Retd.) Gopal Karunakaran as the Chief Guest and Laxmi Hariharan, CEO of Spectra Genie, as the Guest of Honour. The ceremony, held at the Knowledge Centre, AI & DS Block, brought together hundreds of student delegates from different universities and colleges who had spent two days debating global issues across multiple UN committees.

In an exclusive interaction with Ten News Network, delegates described TGUMUN 2025 as an enriching and inspiring learning experience.

Rishika, representing Australia in the UNCSW, said that, I travelled over 500 kilometres from Punjab, and everything here exceeded my expectations. The committee sessions, the Executive Board, the food, and the hospitality were excellent. This has been one of my best MUN experiences.

Vaishnavi, who represented the Prime Minister of India in AIPPM, shared her excitement by saying that, This was my first national-level MUN, and Galgotias University lived up to every expectation. The organisation, the committee environment, and the guidance from EBs were remarkable.

Vidhansh, a law student from Ghaziabad, added: I represented Amit Shah in AIPPM. Even if you don’t win a prize, you walk away with friendships and memories. This MUN was an excellent platform for those wanting to improve communication skills.

Saksham Goswami, attending his third MUN in two months and saying that, the level of competition was very high because most participants were university students. The EBs were extremely experienced, and I learned a lot from their feedback.

In another interaction with Ten News Network, a delegate expressed deep appreciation for the platform provided by Galgotias University, extending gratitude to Dr. Dhruv Galgotia, Dr Aradhana Galgotia , the organising team and the MUN Secretariat for conducting what he described as a “wonderfully structured debate forum.” He explained that MUNs serve as vital debating platforms where students deliberate on diverse agendas across committees such as AIPPM, UNCSW and others.

Reflecting on the significance of youth participation in such forums, he urged students below the age of 25—who are not yet eligible to contest elections for the legislative assembly or Parliament—to use MUNs and youth parliaments as avenues to voice their ideas on national and global issues.

He encouraged students from classes 6 to 12, as well as those pursuing graduation in fields like law, journalism and political science, to actively participate in debates and discussions. India is a democratic country, and democracy thrives on debate and discussion. If you have ideas, come forward and represent them. These platforms help shape the nation, emphasizing that meaningful dialogue is central to democratic governance.

He concluded by thanking the Galgotias university and the news network for offering a space where young minds can engage, learn and contribute constructively.
