The event has brought together manufacturers, exporters, buyers, retailers, and industry leaders from across India and overseas.

A key highlight of this landmark edition was the Perfect Sourcing Excellence Awards Ceremony, held on January 27, which recognized innovation, leadership, and outstanding contributions to the Indian apparel and fashion ecosystem. The awards ceremony was attended by several eminent industry figures, including Lalit Thukral, President of the Noida Apparel Export Cluster; Rajeev Bansal, Vice President of the Indian Industries Association; and Deepti Marwah from Perfect Sourcing.

The event serves as a comprehensive sourcing hub, connecting apparel manufacturers and retailers across diverse categories such as ethnic wear, casual wear, denim, activewear, and fashion accessories. Addressing the gathering, Rajeev Bansal, Vice President, Indian Industries Association, highlighted India’s rapidly expanding position in global manufacturing. He stated that India is on track to become the third-largest manufacturing economy in the world, driven largely by robust domestic demand and the growing strength of Indian brands. He encouraged leading apparel brands to source their requirements from Noida and the surrounding regions, emphasizing that local sourcing would fuel regional growth, create employment opportunities, and strengthen supply chains. He also thanked Perfect Sourcing for bringing industry leaders together on one platform and providing Noida’s apparel manufacturers an opportunity to scale and compete globally.

Speaking to Ten News Network, award recipient Sartaj Mehta, Director – Product and Design, Pepe Jeans London India, praised the initiative, calling it a well-organized and impactful industry platform. Another award recipient, Ranjeev Kapoor, CEO of Triburg, India’s largest buying house, shared that the organization has exported over USD 14 billion worth of garments under the “Made in India” initiative. Accepting the award on behalf of Triburg’s 408-member team, he credited the leadership of founder and chairman Tarun Bakshi and emphasized the importance of teamwork. She further emphasized the need for the industry to invest in artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced technologies to improve consistency, productivity, and quality. Stressing that sustainability has become a necessity rather than a choice, she urged exporters to adopt eco-friendly practices, improve strategic pricing, and address challenges posed by longer logistics timelines.

Sharing an inspiring message, she encouraged women professionals to remain resilient and continue learning throughout their careers.
