Greater Noida News (29 January 2026): India’s growing strength in global manufacturing and the rising prominence of Noida as a garments hub took center stage at the 10th Garment Show of India 2026, where Rajeev Bansal, Founder & CEO, Celestial Lifestyle Limited and Vice President of the Indian Industries Association, delivered a strong and forward-looking address to industry stakeholders.

Speaking at the India Expo Centre & Mart during the three-day B2B sourcing exhibition, Rajeev Bansal asserted that India is steadily advancing toward becoming the world’s third-largest manufacturing economy. He attributed this momentum to strong domestic demand, the rapid evolution of Indian brands, and the expanding capabilities of regional manufacturing clusters.

India’s manufacturing growth story is being driven not just by scale, but by quality, innovation, and the strength of local ecosystems, Rajeev Bansal said, urging leading apparel brands and retailers to increasingly source from Noida and adjoining regions. He emphasized that localized sourcing would not only reinforce supply chains but also generate employment and accelerate regional economic development.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, the Perfect Sourcing Excellence Awards 2026 were held at India Expo Mart Limited, recognizing excellence, innovation, and best practices across the textile and apparel sector. Bansal played a prominent role in the proceedings, serving on the dais in his dual capacity as Vice President of the Indian Industries Association and General Secretary of the Noida Apparel Export Cluster.

Addressing the gathering during the awards ceremony, he highlighted the critical need for Indian apparel manufacturers to focus on quality benchmarks, sustainability, operational efficiency, and collaborative engagement between industry bodies and exporters. According to him, these factors are essential for enhancing India’s long-term competitiveness in global markets.

He also underlined Noida’s emergence as a key garments manufacturing destination, citing its skilled workforce, robust infrastructure, and supportive industrial environment. Rajeev Bansal acknowledged the role of platforms like the Garment Show of India in bringing together manufacturers, exporters, buying houses, brands, and service providers under one roof, enabling meaningful dialogue and business growth.

Expressing appreciation for the organizers, he noted that the professionally curated event successfully reflected the industry’s collective commitment to innovation, performance excellence, and sustainable development.

With strong participation and impactful discussions led by industry leaders like Rajeev Bansal, the 10th Garment Show of India 2026 has reinforced its status as a pivotal forum shaping the future trajectory of India’s textile and apparel manufacturing sector.
