Greater Noida News (17 February 17 2026): The 61st edition of the IHGF Delhi Fair – Spring 2026 is underway from February 14 to 18 at the state-of-the-art India Expo Centre & Mart, bringing together global buyers and Indian exporters on a single platform. Organised by the Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), the premier sourcing event features more than 3,000 exhibitors across 17 dedicated halls, showcasing a wide spectrum of products including home furnishings, furniture, fashion jewellery, eco-friendly goods, and lifestyle items.
Among the prominent participants, Metela Exports drew significant attention with its display of premium, sustainable home furnishing products. Speaking to Ten News, Metela Exports CEO Mohan Anand highlighted the company’s focus on quality, sustainability, and natural materials.
The company showcased a comprehensive range of high-end home textile products, including cushions, bedding items, throws, and other linen products. All items are manufactured at Metela Exports’ own production facility, ensuring strict quality control and consistency. Alongside pure linen collections, the company also presented blended products designed to balance durability with sustainability.

According to Anand, the products are primarily crafted from natural fibres, making them environmentally responsible and suitable for regular human use. He emphasized that the key differentiators of the brand include the use of eco-friendly raw materials, sustainable production practices, and body-friendly characteristics. These attributes position Metela Exports firmly within the premium sustainable home décor segment, catering to evolving global demand for responsible and ethical products.
Anand noted that the company’s participation in the fair was facilitated by EPCH, which continues to play a crucial role in promoting Indian handicraft and home furnishing exporters in international markets. He added that exporters are collectively working to expand global trade in alignment with national development objectives, including the vision of a developed India by 2047 and the economic growth targets set for Uttar Pradesh.
International buyers visiting the Metela Exports pavilion showed strong interest in several product categories. Bedding products, cushions, and especially throws emerged as the most in-demand items among overseas buyers during the exhibition, reflecting current global trends in home décor and sustainable living.
Commenting on the venue, Anand described the infrastructure and facilities at the India Expo Centre & Mart as good overall. However, he also pointed out that there is scope for further improvement to enhance future exhibitions, particularly in terms of display support and visitor experience.
