DM Medha Roopam Visits Aarya Fashions, Appreciates Efforts in Women Empowerment & Skill Development

Greater Noida News (16/03/2025): District Magistrate Medha Roopam, IAS, visited the manufacturing facility of Aarya Fashions in Gautam Buddha Nagar, where she reviewed the company’s operations and interacted with women employees, artisans, and craftsmen working at the unit. Her visit was aimed at understanding the organization’s contribution to skill development and employment generation in the handicraft sector.

During the visit, the District Magistrate toured the production unit and observed the processes involved in manufacturing handicraft products. She also held discussions with women workers and trainees to learn about the training programs conducted by the company. The interaction highlighted how unskilled women are being trained and equipped with professional skills, enabling them to earn a livelihood and become financially independent.

Medha Roopam praised the initiatives taken by Aarya Fashions, stating that the organization is playing a significant role in promoting the handicraft export sector while also creating employment opportunities for women.
