Music, Fashion and Creative Competitions Attracts Vibrancy at Galgotias University

Greater Noida News (09/04/2026): The second day of Unifest 2026 at Galgotias University, located along the Yamuna Expressway in Greater Noida, witnessed an electrifying atmosphere as thousands of students gathered to participate in a wide range of cultural, creative and entertainment events. The festival, regarded as one of North India’s largest university fests, continued to showcase the vibrant spirit of youth through competitions, performances and interactive activities across the campus.

From early morning, different venues across the university buzzed with activity as students competed in multiple creative and cultural contests. Media and content-based competitions such as Reel O Radiant, Pixel Perfect, Uniwalk, Vlog-O-Twist and the “Unifest in 60 Seconds” Mini Vlog Challenge encouraged participants to demonstrate their skills in storytelling, photography and digital content creation. These events highlighted how digital media has become an integral platform for creative expression among students.

Artistic and creativity-driven competitions also attracted significant attention throughout the day. Events including Scribble Syndicate, Masked in Magic and Best Out of Waste gave students the opportunity to showcase their imagination and artistic talent, while activities like Treasure Hunt, Hit or Miss, Intern and Insanity and Mini Carnival added an element of fun and engagement across the campus.

The cultural segment of the festival was equally vibrant, with several performances taking place on different stages. Savage Floor brought together energetic dance performances, while music lovers enjoyed soulful singing competitions such as Swarotsav and Swaranjali. Students also showcased their theatrical skills in Awaaz-E-Sadak, a street play event that highlighted social themes through powerful performances.

Fashion and style were also on full display as students walked the ramp in events like GlamWalk and Cosmic Runway, turning the campus into a lively fashion arena. Meanwhile, Galgotias Got Talent gave participants a chance to present diverse performances ranging from singing and dancing to unique stage acts, capturing the attention of the audience.

Throughout the day, the university campus reflected the true spirit of youth participation, with students enthusiastically cheering for their peers and actively taking part in the competitions. The festival grounds remained packed with participants and spectators, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement and celebration.

The highlight of the evening was the much-anticipated live performance by Ali Merchant, whose high-energy DJ set transformed the Unifest stage into a lively dance arena. As the music echoed across the campus, hundreds of students gathered near the main stage, dancing and celebrating the festive spirit late into the evening.

With its blend of creativity, culture, music and entertainment, the second day of Unifest 2026 further strengthened the festival’s reputation as a major youth celebration. The event continues to bring together students from numerous institutions, providing them a platform to express talent, build connections and experience the dynamic culture of campus life.
