Bharat Shiksha Expo Is a Great Platform for Higher Education Aspirants: Dr. Anurag, Amity University, Gurugram

Greater Noida News (17/05/2026): After three days of innovation, academic interaction, skill-based learning and career-focused engagement, Bharat Shiksha Expo 2026 concluded successfully today at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. Organised from May 14 to May 16, the mega education expo emerged as one of India’s largest platforms connecting universities, educational institutions, EdTech companies, policymakers, industry experts, counsellors, parents and thousands of students under one roof. The final day of the expo witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and parents exploring higher education opportunities, future career pathways and emerging industry-oriented programmes. A valedictory ceremony was also organised on the concluding day, marking the successful completion of the three-day educational event.

The expo served as a vibrant platform promoting innovation, experiential learning, industry-academia collaboration and skill development aligned with the vision of future-ready education in India. Several universities and institutions from across the country participated in the event, showcasing their academic programmes, infrastructure, placement opportunities, technological advancements and research initiatives.

Speaking to Ten News Network during the event, Dr. Anurag from Amity University Haryana shared his experience and highlighted the importance of such educational expos in guiding students towards higher education opportunities. Introducing himself, he said, I am Dr. Anurag from Amity University Haryana, working as Assistant Professor III, and my area of research is plant virology. I mainly work on how plants cope with stress conditions. Our university is located in Gurugram and offers multiple courses in electronics, VLSI, artificial intelligence and several other emerging fields.

Sharing his views on the response received at Bharat Shiksha Expo 2026, Dr. Anurag stated that the event provided an excellent platform for universities to directly interact with students and parents. He said, Bharat Shiksha Expo is a very good platform where universities like Amity University, Sharda University, KIET and many others are interacting with students who are looking for higher education opportunities. The response here has been very positive. We received around 75 student inquiries from different schools, especially for courses like B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

He further appreciated the variety of workshops and student engagement activities organised during the expo, including AI-related workshops and interactive sessions that encouraged students to explore future technologies and career possibilities.

Praising the venue and overall arrangements at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Dr. Anurag remarked that the connectivity and infrastructure played a major role in attracting students and parents from different regions. He said, The venue is very well connected and easily accessible for students and parents. Bharat Shiksha Expo gives families an opportunity to explore multiple universities, understand their infrastructure, facilities and specialisations, and then make informed decisions regarding higher education. The metro connectivity and facilities here are quite impressive.

Throughout the three-day event, students actively participated in hackathons, workshops, counselling sessions, quizzes, robotics demonstrations, AI learning activities and interactive career guidance programmes. The expo also provided institutions with opportunities for networking, collaboration and showcasing innovation-driven educational models.

As Bharat Shiksha Expo 2026 concluded on its final day, the event successfully established itself as a significant national platform promoting modern education, innovation and skill-based learning. The overwhelming response from universities, industry leaders, educators, students and parents reflected the growing importance of experiential education platforms that bridge the gap between academics and industry requirements. The expo not only created awareness about future career opportunities but also empowered students with knowledge, exposure and confidence to make informed academic and professional choices in an increasingly competitive and technology-driven world.
