CII Hosts High-Level Industry-Government Dialogue on Uttar Pradesh’s Digital & Electronics Growth Vision

Greater Noida News (20/06/2026): The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Western Uttar Pradesh, organised an interactive session with Uttar Pradesh’s Minister for IT & Electronics, Sunil Kumar Sharma, at Hotel Radisson in Sector 55, Noida. The event brought together prominent industry representatives, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss the future of the state’s rapidly expanding technology and electronics ecosystem.

Among the participants was Rajeev Bansal, who attended the programme in his capacity as a Member of the CII Uttar Pradesh State Council. The session served as a significant platform for industry leaders to engage directly with senior government officials on key issues impacting business growth and investment in the state.

Addressing the gathering, Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary, IT & Electronics, Government of Uttar Pradesh, outlined the government’s strategic vision for accelerating digital transformation across the state. He highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen the electronics manufacturing sector, attract domestic and global investments, promote innovation-driven enterprises, and build a technology-friendly business environment.

The discussions focused on a wide range of topics, including ease of doing business, policy reforms, digital infrastructure development, emerging opportunities in the IT and electronics sectors, and measures to enhance Uttar Pradesh’s competitiveness as an investment destination. Industry participants also shared their perspectives and recommendations for further strengthening collaboration between the government and the private sector.

During the interaction, Minister Sunil Kumar Sharma reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to creating a conducive ecosystem for technology-led growth and industrial development. He emphasized the importance of industry participation in shaping policies that encourage innovation, entrepreneurship, and employment generation.

The event reflected the Uttar Pradesh Government’s continued efforts to foster stronger partnerships with industry stakeholders and advance its vision of transforming the state into a leading hub for technology, electronics manufacturing, investment, and sustainable economic growth.
